Hi, it's nice to meet you. My name is Evy, and I'd love to tell you a little more about myself. I'm 21 years old and am a senior studying writing and communications at Maryville College.

 

My passions include traveling, reading and writing - and not arithmetic. My interests include dogs, naps, hammocking, hiking, watching Netflix (are you supposed to admit that?) and more dogs.

 

After graduation, I'm ready to leave the small towns behind and head to the city to pursue a career in journalism. But FIRST, I have to graduate, and this means completing a senior thesis.

 

I wanted something hands-on for my thesis project, and I wanted to incorporate intimate, human interest journalism with my love for travel. This blog is my solution. 

 

While I'm no stranger to adventure, this blog will be an entirely new kind of adventure. I look forward to you following me on this journey.
